Day 1 Transfer
A member of our team will welcome you at the hall of the international airport to Antananarivo. Please look out for a sign with your name after you exit from the restricted area with your luggage. Our guide will take you to your private vehicle for transfer to your hotel.
Overnight at Antananarivo for Bed and Breakfast.
Day 2 From Antananarivo to Andasibe
You start the journey to the East and drive along the National Road Number 02, the main commercial road of the country. The ride will take 3 hours and a half (150km). It is a great opportunity to see the sights and discover the Malagasy lifestyle and architecture on the along the way. You visit the Peyreras farm before getting to Andasibe.
This private reserve is renowned for its reptile. It was founded by the French entomologist and naturalist André Peyreras. The collection includes many reptile species (chameleons, geckos and frogs….), and lemur species.
Night walk to Andasibe: The driver and the guide will accompany you for the night walk from 6.00pm to see chameleons and other nocturnal lemur species, like Mouse lemurs.

Day 3: Mantadia National Park special
After breakfast, let’s visit Mantadia National Park. It is located at 14 km of Andasibe village and dirty road, primary forest. The 3-hour hike will take you across the primary forest to discover the famous Black and white Ruffed lemur,
Red Bellied lemur, Common Brown Lemur
The park is home to some excellent bird species to watch, and you are likely to spot the Pitta Like Ground Roller, Scally Ground Roller. After the visit, drive back to the lodge. Don’t miss the visit of Andasibe village where we can see the lifestyle of the local people. Interact with local villagers and see how they make a living and spend their free time.
At night, we will walk with a private guide and spot the smallest lemur called mouse lemur and some species of chameleon …

Day 4 Visit of Analamazaotra special reserve
Visit Analamazaotra National Park, a fantastic place for lemur-watching. We leave the hotel at 7.30 a.m and start to spot the lemur in their natural habitats. Analamazaotra is home to Indri Indri, the largest lemur species or “Babakoto”. Then, hike for 3 or 4 hours to discover other lemurs species such as Sifaka, brown lemurs and watch birds.
Vakona Island is an island surrounded by fresh water. It is home to various species of lemurs. At the Vakona reserve, lemur-lovers can see and touch some species of lemurs. Possibly, the lemurs to see are: Eastern bamboo lemur, Black and white Ruffed lemur, Ring-tailed Lemur … A very good opportunity to take photos to keep in your memories…

Day 5 Andasibe – Manambato – Palmarium
After breakfast, our next destination is Manambato with the winding route and evergreen landscape, as well as the numerous fruits stalls along the road. After the junction near Brickaville, we ride across a bumpy road for 7 km and head on to the lake of RAVELOBE where a boat will wait for us for transfer to Ankany ny Nofy (The nest of dream) throughout the artificial channels. These channels were made by the local people during the French rule. Ankany ny Nofy (Nest of dreams) is located between the Indian Ocean and the Pangalane Channel. The ferry journey will last 01 hour 30 min.

At night, embark on a speed boat for a nocturnal visit of the AYE AYE
Night visit of the Palmarium
The AYE AYE (Daubentonia Madagascariensis) is one of the most endangered lemur species. Being a nocturnal species, it is considered by the local people as an embodiment of evil. Butchered by the local people and for meat, this lemur species becomes endangered and nearly extinct. Not long ago, some AYE AYE species were spotted in the Palmarium reserve. The remaining species are protected within this area .Our guided tour offers a unique opportunity to see this rare lemur species. After the visit, you will get back to the lodge
Day 6 Palmarium reserve
Once breakfast is over, your guide will take you for a hike to visit the private reserve of Palmarium. It’s an easy hike and a really nice place for a walk, especially to see the Indri -Indri, Macaco lemurs, Black and white ruffed lemur, and some endemic plants to the country called Nepenthes, which is the famous carnivorous plant.

Day 7 Palmarium – Andasibe
Free leisure time in the morning and transfer back by boat to Manambato; then, we drive back to Andasibe
Overnight in Andasibe (breakfast included)
Day 8 Andasibe – Antananarivo
After breakfast, we leave Andasibe and we drive back to Antananarivo.
Day 9 Antananarivo – overseas
The tour ends with a city tour if time allows. We will visit the Ambohimanga Palace. A UNESCO world heritage, this used to be the dwelling place of Andrianampoinimerina, the renowned King of the highland. His name infers nobility in the heart of the highlanders or Merina. The king was famous for his willingness to unify the country at th start of the XVII century.
After the visit, we will ride to the souvenir market, and depending on your flight schedule, transfer to your next destintion.
